Time to update your CV with Tetris play?

Hello, stranger! New here? How about subscribing to my RSS feed? Thanks for visiting!
I was going through Digg the other day and came upon this YouTube video. It’s a guy playing Tetris… Personally, I’ve never played Tetris before but even I can appreciate his mad skills. To me, this guy is definitely unique and he’s found his niche market. Is there any way he can parlay it into something lucrative? Is there a gaming circuit for this guy? Can he become a company rep promoting the game and its numerous variants? Like really, are these skills transferable beyond grocery shelf stacking?
Here is Wikipedia’s take on the effects of Tetris on the brain:
According to Richard Haier, et al. prolonged Tetris activity can also lead to more efficient brain activity during play. When first playing Tetris, brain function and activity increases, along with greater cerebral energy consumption, measured by glucose metabolic rate. As Tetris players become more proficient, their brains show a reduced consumption of glucose, indicating more efficient brain activity for this task.[19] The game can also cause a repetitive stress symptom in that the brain will involuntarily picture tetris combinations even when the player is not playing the game (the Tetris effect), although this can occur with any computer game showcasing repeated images or scenarios.
Okay, minus the bit about Tetris block hallucinations, this guy has probably trained his brain to be very efficient at visual-spatial representation. The speed at which he computes the block rotation is amazing. He probably has a great memory in order to memorize the screen layout for invisible Tetris at the end (!!!). He shows he is dexterous and we can safely assume he does well in areas of concentration. I’d be interested to know what this guy does for a living and whether he mentions Tetris in his CV… Research shows that video games need not be a total waste of time and can help improve hand-eye coordination and spatial memory. It all depends if you harness your powers for good or evil.
