Hi CD,

I can't remember where I read it but a blogger had listed the skills you acquire when blogging: writing, marketing, design, tech, SEO, etc. Since I'm in the tech field, I'd like to say I'm at least knowledgeable about these things but I know I can't. Perhaps I should have picked a less personal subject but my legacy for this blog is to create a lasting financial foundation. Perhaps the blogging bug will go away but I know I'll be set for my lazy woman's portfolio.

Generally in the early stages of a blog it doesn't really matter. This only became an issue to me after I hit a certain level of readership. I still don't tell many people around me that I write a blog and I certain don't advertise I write it to anyone. Just if it comes up I don't lie about it.
