Aww, come on guys, you are no fun ;)

Okay, 40k for 4 tickets is a bit much but how much would you be willing to pay for a concert ticket, the Olympics, or as Mike mentioned Stanley Cup final tickets?

The dad who bought the tickets got them at the 50 yard line and included pre and post game parties and hotel accommodations. I'm not saying that's right but just so you guys get the whole picture... and he is a mutual fund manager, lol. So that's where our money goes :P

@ Serge

I don't know what it is about Brady... he just seems to be a bit too perfect. I always liked Peyton though. So if it's not big bro, then let Eli be the Patriot slayer.

@ Meg and Selene

Yes, girls can be football fans too :) For myself, I'm a very casual football fan. I am in the office pool every year and last year I won a couple of weeks. This year I came in middle of the pack. I know very, very little (only which team is considered a good). But when it's against the spread, anybody can be competitive.

And I agree that better things can be spent with the money.

@ Paul

Not even the Sydney Olympics, Paul? I admit I get teary eyed whenever I go to live games and they play the national anthem. It's the burst of pride thing. I'd love to go to the Vancouver Olympics.

@ Mike

I did try to get Stanley Cup final tickets at $250 a piece... wasn't able to... ;)

If I had the money ie $10mill in the bank then yes, I would pay $40k to attend the superbowl with three other people - those tickets are hard to get!

I would also make an effort ($) to attend some Stanley Cup final games which are also hard tickets.

Agreed Meg. I'm a huge female football fan, but I don't like the pros as much as college football. Even though I'm a huge football fan I couldn't justify spending 10,000 dollars a ticket. I could think of hundreds of ways I'd rather spend my money.

OMG! $4K for 1 ticket... pfffff... I think I'll stayed cuddled up with my girl on the couch watching from the best seat in the house... priceless... that's if I was an A-hole American... ;-) for me though there are much more intellectually challenging and interesting things to do.
