Entrecard link love - week 9
moneyrelations :: Feb.10.2008
Hello, stranger! New here? How about subscribing to my RSS feed? Thanks for visiting!
It’s that time again! Here are the blogs that have graced my Entrecard widget for the past week.
Trainee Trader - Trainee Trader has rolled out a very attractive new blog theme. What’s more, here’s an article that caught my eye: Five Tips to Regain your Trading Focus. What’s good about these tips is that they also apply to everyday life.
GeekSpeak - This is the first time I’ve come across this blog and it awakened my inner geek. I did collect comics as a kid but it was “cute comics”. Still, I can appreciate a good post on The Best Comic Book Films That Will Never Get Made.
Make Mad Money Work is a blog that tracks Jim Cramer’s stock picks from CNBC’s Mad Money. Make Mad Money Work reports that Yahoo is set to reject Microsoft’s $44.6 billion bid. It will be interesting how this plays out in the market’s on Monday as Jim Cramer thinks that Microsoft is a recession proof company.
Invest with Dax - Dax got a rude awakening when he went shopping with his wife recently (and paid attention) - inflation! In his post Your Wallet’s Worst Nightmare, Dax talks about the factors involved that has led to his higher grocery bill.
One World Income is a blog about alternative investing blog. One of the articles that made me laugh this week was PromoStockPicks.com, a Scam or Elaborate Hoax? so which is worse, a scam or a hoax?
The post catches what is in the disclaimer of the paid membership site: “all people, events, and dates (as well as all related subject matter) mentioned on this website are fictional”. It pays (saves) to read disclaimers!
My CFO on the Go! - We have all heard that the U.S. is rolling out rebate checks to stimulate a sluggish economy. But My CFO on the Go explains the difference between “advance payment checks” and rebate checks in her You Won’t Be Getting a Tax Rebate Check post. Her argument is that these pre-payment checks won’t really help the economy.
You Should Own is a Cleveland Ohio Real Estate blog but it offers practical advice for everyone. Here’s a timely article: Cupid in Foreclosure? Save your money with the tips found in this article for a frugal Valentine’s Day that’s worth more to your partner in the end.
And that’s it for this week’s link love…
Unfortunately, next week will be my last week of link love with Entrecard. I have decided to turn off my advertising but next week’s ads will run as scheduled. I’ve been incredibly busy at work and at home so the Sundays off will help
But once again, I thank you all for the sponsorship, it’s always been very much appreciated.
